Back to Eden Gardening

Back to Eden Film shares the story of one man’s lifelong journey, walking with God and learning how to get back to the simple, productive growing methods of sustainable provision that were given to man in the garden of Eden.”

For a lot of people the thought of putting in a garden is daunting. And for the dedicated folks trying to grow some yummy home-grown food, you know it takes a lot of work that doesn’t always yield the results you want. Trust us, we know there’s a lot of work that goes into even just a small garden, let alone when you want to have enough to sell as well. So many weeds; sometimes the plants grow and produce, sometimes they don’t.

Tilling, planting, weeding, watering, weeding, fertilizing, praying, weeding, collecting produce, and trying to keep pests and disease at bay. Oh and maybe some more weeding. But…what if we’re going about it the wrong way? What if it doesn’t have to be that hard? What if we stopped fighting the land and worked with it the way that God intended? All of this a much more is discussed in the Back to Eden film in the above link. You can even stream it for free!

This really is a great video to watch and we’re changing how we garden this coming year!

  1. This was a great film! Even though I teach Square Foot Gardening this is probably the method I’ll use on a project I’m working on with a local homeless shelter because of its simplicity and ease of locating wood chips.
